Sunny Seville

Where oranges grow on the side of the street.

Where tapas bars are full all day and all night.

Where sangria comes by the litre and is soooo tasty.

Where the sun is shining, and it´s hot even in autumn.

Where all the shops close between 2 and 5 for lunch and siesta.

Alcazar at dusk

We could stay here for weeks if we didn´t have to come home eventually. Siestas are SUCH a great idea, and are suiting us just fine!

Next stop, Algeciras. We get the ferry from there to Morocco. We´ve just discovered that we´re arriving in the middle of Ramadan.....

Oh... Oh... Oh... I remember it well, Seville Oranges Trees, Moorish Architecture, Wonderful Tapas, Delicious cooking smells, The Mediterranean, Brilliant Siestas (I think we should have a Vote for Siestas in Sydney, especially in Summer time) just to name a few, so glad you are enjoying it all. lots of love, Pennie

We were in Turkey this time last year during ramadan, but at least you'll have no problems getting a table in any restaurant at lunchtime!!!!
Spain sounds like my sort of place!
Enjoy Morocco.
Love, Meg.

Wow... love all the photos of Seville. Spain is a lovely country, when we were there President Franco was still in charge and there was a heavy Military presence, have you seen any Guardia Civil with their little patent leather hats?? Please take a photo of one for me :-) Pennie
